luxundry (luxundry LLC) (“luxundry,” “we,” “us”) is the controller of personal information collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and your rights. Contact: hello@luxundry.com. 1. Information we collect

Orders and checkout. When you buy, Stripe collects your name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, and payment details. We receive confirmation of payment (not full card numbers), the shipping address, and contact details so we can fulfill the order, send receipts, and provide support.

Email list. If you join Stay Refreshed, we collect your email, optional first name, the page you signed up from, the time of consent, the exact consent wording you agreed to, your IP address, browser user agent, and approximate country. We store this as proof of opt-in. The checkbox is never pre-ticked.

Site analytics. We record page path, country, referring site, and an anonymous visitor id stored on your device so we can count views, unique visitors, live users, and product-page conversion. This is first-party and not used for ads.

Advertising measurement (only with consent). If you accept analytics and advertising cookies, we use Meta Pixel in your browser and Meta’s Conversions API on our server to measure ad performance. That can include product views, bag activity, checkout, and purchases, with hashed email, phone, and address when we have them from an order. You can switch this off on the Cookie Policy page.

Essential technical data. We store your shopping bag in your browser and use cookies or similar storage required for checkout, security, and remembering your cookie choice.

2. Why we use it (legal bases)

We process order data to perform our contract with you (sale and delivery) and to meet tax and accounting duties. We send marketing email only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. We use essential cookies as necessary to provide the store, including anonymous first-party visit counts. Advertising pixels run only if you consent. We may process limited data (for example fraud signals from Stripe) for our legitimate interest in protecting the store, balanced against your rights.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. If you consent to advertising cookies, we share limited event and hashed order data with Meta to measure ads (this can be “sharing” under California law — opt out with Essential only on the Cookie Policy page). Processors we use: Stripe (payments and hosted checkout), Google Firebase / Firestore (catalog, orders, and mailing list storage), Vercel (website hosting), Meta (Pixel and Conversions API, only if you accept advertising cookies, plus completed-purchase measurement from our servers), TikTok (Pixel and Events API, only if you accept advertising cookies, plus completed-purchase measurement from our servers), and, if configured, our email delivery provider for order receipts and newsletters. They may process data in the United States or other countries with contractual safeguards.

4. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as required for accounting, warranty, and legal claims (typically at least 7 years). Mailing-list records stay until you unsubscribe; we then keep a suppression record (email and unsubscribe date) so we do not email you again by mistake. Analytics aggregates are kept for up to 24 months. Cookie choices are stored in your browser until you clear them.

5. Marketing emails

We only add you to the marketing list after an affirmative opt-in. Every marketing email will identify luxundry, include our postal address (1200 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States), and include an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages (order confirmation, shipping, support replies) are not marketing and may still be sent when needed to complete a purchase. 6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and you may withdraw consent. California residents may request to know, delete, or correct personal information and to opt out of sale or sharing. Use Essential only on the Cookie Policy page to opt out of advertising pixels. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Email hello@luxundry.com from the address we have on file. We may need to verify your identity. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

7. Children

The store is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security and international transfers

We use HTTPS, restrict admin access, and rely on our processors’ security programs. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your information may be transferred to the United States. We rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our providers.

9. Cookies

Details are in our Cookie Policy. You can change analytics and advertising consent at any time from that page.

10. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes to marketing or sale of data will be communicated as required by law.
